I have so many emotions as this springtime moves forward towards summer. My chickens are looking for shade, and so am I. We all have challenges, and each is different. For me, putting on my compression stockings is a daily challenge. I’ll have to admit that I’ve frightened my wife a time or two when I yell as I take them off in the evening!
I am guilty of exaggerating on occasion, but then that is required of a story teller. However I am serious when my sincerity and love for our community is challenged. Everyone has different ideas and opinions. There is more than one way to accomplish most anything. I am simply doing my job the best way I know how.
I love what is coming together for our new visitor center at Centennial Park. This project is not for me. It’s to help our community and those who visit here. My name will not be anywhere on or in the center. Many have donated time and materials toward the effort. I will thank them personally and publicly at the right time and place.
We will welcome hundreds this summer and fall to our city and to Utah’s Trail Country. The story of the users of the many trails through and around our valley is amazing and it’s a very important story. No exaggeration is needed. The center will be opened in just a few weeks, and it will be a very good thing indeed.
