CITY ENGINEER / BUILDING OFFICIAL

Richfield City is accepting applications for a City Engineer / Building Official. The successful candidate will perform a variety of engineering functions including the design, oversight and inspection of routine public works projects; as well as coordinating with consulting engineers on larger city projects. This position will also serve as the City’s Building Official, with responsibility for building inspections and zoning regulations.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and two years of professional experience in the engineering field. Candidate must also be willing and able to obtain building inspector licenses for residential and commercial construction. Candidates with experience in building construction or inspection, including current licensing, are preferred. This full-time, professional position will work under the direction of the City Administrator. Candidate must possess a valid Utah Drivers License.
Richfield City provides an excellent, comprehensive benefit package. Beginning salary range is $63,000 to $68,000, depending on education and experience.
