Jim and Lillian Forsey built this beautiful home and moved there in December 7, 1941, the day Pearl Harbor was bombed. They started the Forsey Ice Cream Company in 1921. In 1937 they started making 4C Candy Bars. In 1963 the Crème Pecan Bar was added to their line.
In 1977 their daughter Phyllis Horne, an artist, painted the picture of them and the home for their 50th wedding anniversary (shown above).
Blanchette Hansen purchased the home from the Forsey family and later sold it to her daughter, Heidi Gleave. There have been a couple of other owners, but the home was purchased in 2014 by Nate and Hollie Curtis. Hollie lived across the street from this home for her entire life and was thrilled when they could become the new owners. The home was shared with the community during the 2014 Richfield Holiday Home Show.
