PUBLIC NOTICE 

A Petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the Richfield City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a parcel of land belonging to H & G Cattle Ranch, LLC, located at approximately 575 West 2630 South, more specifically described as follows: BEGINNING AT A POINT LOCATED SOUTH 864.36 FEET AND WEST 1489.14 FEET FROM THE NORTHEAST CORNER OR SECTION 11, T.24 S., R.3 W., SLB. & M., SAID POINT BEING THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SOUTH MEADOW SUBDIVISION THENCE S00°19’08”E 635.14 FEET, THENCE S 88°03’24” E 1355.39 FEET THENCE S00°30’00” E 2397.27 FEET, THENCE N88°00’00” W 1400.76 FEET, THENCE N00°03’00”W 1669.27 FEET, THENCE N87°59’20” W 866.69 FEET TO A POINT ON THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF HIGHWAY 118, THENCE N20°31’22”E ALONG SAID WEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE 1686.66 FEET TO THE EXISTING RICHFIELD CITY BOUNDARY, THENCE ALONG EXISTING RICHFIELD CITY BOUNDARY THE FOLLOWING BEARINGS AND DISTANCES: N20°31’22”E 211.37 EAST 212.34 FEET, S00°43’05” W 138.50 FEET, S02°18’06”E 309.63 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.  CONTAINING 99.041 ACRES. Notice of certification was received by the Richfield City Council on March 5, 2008.  The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Richfield City Recorder. Richfield City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed with the Boundary Commission at 250 North Main, Richfield, Utah 84701, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Richfield City Recorder by Friday, April 4, 2008.  A protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the legislative body or the governing board of an affected entity.
