Online Service

Written by Mike Langston on 19 December 2011.

Please note that we have added a new service to our webpage.  "Online Service Requests" is now an available feature for our citizens.  Note the button bar on the side of this screen, and you will see "Online Service Request".  Just click on the button and you will be taken to a page that will give you the opportunity to report problems that you see within the City such as potholes, water leaks, sewer problems, drainage issues, beautification issues and any other issues that might be resolved by the employees of Richfield City.  We are "your" public employees and it is our responsibility to make the City a great place to live.  Your help and suggestions are welcome and needed.

Remember, however, if you have an "emergency", please call so we can respond quickly.  An inside the house sewer backup, for example, needs to be resolved immediately.  Also, a police issue is usually something that needs to be reported immediately, not through this new service.  So just remember to use good judgement as to the "emergency" aspect of this new webpage service.

Thanks!  alt

Dear Sevier County Citizens,

After several years of fund raising, design, and construction, the Veterans Memorial is nearing completion.  This coming spring and summer we intend to complete the construction.  Names of veterans will be placed on four large monoliths and placed on the north and south sides of the main monument.  Flags are currently flying, and military flags will fly on important holidays such as Veterans Day, July 4th, July 24th, Memorial Day, and the like.  The balance of the granite has arrived on site.  Concrete is being poured and the Monoliths will soon be placed.  Landscaping and final completion is scheduled so that we can dedicate the Memorial this year.  We hope that you enjoy the memorial, and that it will serve as a reminder to all that "freedom isn't free" and that we owe so much to our defenders of liberty and freedom.

Click on the link for the name submission/donation form. We continue to need your help to get veteran names for the monument and of course, donations to make the monument happen.  However, you can donate to the project even if you do not have a veteran in your family.  Please use the name submission/donation form and work with your extended families for the needed names and donations to send to us. If you have any questions or require additional forms, you may contact the city staff at (435) 896-6439 and they will be glad to help you. I would like to thank you for your support of this project and I believe, when completed, this monument will be one of the greatest assets in our community and valley.

Thank You,

Brad C. Ramsay
Mayor
